The roll with cream, chocolate and strawberries is the dessert to celebrate the 5 years of our website and even if I didn't have time to publish the new site for this date, or a special cake, I am satisfied with a symbolic sweet to remember this day. It's been 5 years since I started sharing with the world the dishes I prepare every day for my loved ones and in addition to having published about 800 recipes, I have shared with others stories of my life, anecdotes about my family and little pieces of my daily life. Today Monday's sweet is everything for my blog which for me is a source of great satisfaction and gives me the energy to do better and better, not only in the kitchen;) I offer you a slice of chocolate and strawberry roll and I wish you a sweet Monday, kiss kisses
How to make the chocolate and strawberry roll
Separate the yolks from the whites and whip the latter until stiff peaks. In a bowl, whip the egg yolks with the sugar until they are puffy and fluffy
Now add the vanilla and cocoa while continuing to whip
Gently add the whipped egg whites to the mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Line the baking tray with greased baking paper and pour the mixture into it
Bake at 180 ° and bake the cocoa biscuit dough for 25 minutes
Turn the biscuit dough over on a surface covered with parchment paper and gently peel off the paper attached to the base
Now whip the cream and cut the chocolate and strawberries into small pieces.
Spread a layer of cream on 3/4 of the surface of the biscuit dough. Cover with the pieces of strawberry and those of dark chocolate
With the help of baking paper, roll everything up starting from the side covered with cream.
Wrap the roll in parchment paper and place in the fridge to cool for at least an hour
Now arrange the cocoa roll with chocolate and strawberries on a serving dish, cut the 2 ends and decorate with sprigs of whipped cream and strawberries
Cut into slices and serve
