The fake peaches alchermes are sweets consisting of two semispheres of biscuit dough joined by chocolate cream, custard, jam or Nutella as in this case. The sweet peaches, after being stuffed, are dipped in alchermes liqueur and rolled in granulated sugar to obtain the appearance similar to that of the peel of a peach. I should have finished the job by garnishing each alchermes peach with a green leaf of sugar or marzipan but, amazing to believe, all the sweet shops near my house were out of it, it will be for next time;) dessert that I dedicate to all mothers, those who already have a baby and know pure and unconditional love such as Ingrid, Simona, Rosita, Patty, Minnie, Annamaria, sammy, those who carry it in their womb and imagine what their little one will be like like danielina, rosj, apina, marianna, nicole, but above all my best wishes today are for those who already feel like a mother while still not managing to have their own child, my greatest wish is to them so that they can soon realize their dream. How to make fake alchermes peaches
Arrange the flour, sugar, baking powder and vanilla in a large bowl, with the butter cut into pieces in the center, the eggs and the grated lemon peel.
Begin to knead starting from the center and gradually incorporating all the flour.
Add a lot until you get a rather soft dough (I put 3 tablespoons and it was enough)
Flour your hands and take some dough with which you will form balls the size of a walnut
Gradually place all the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
Bake the balls obtained in a preheated oven at 180 ° and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
When the hemispheres are cooked, lightly press their base with your thumb to obtain a small groove and spread a teaspoon of Nutella
Cover with another hemisphere and join everything together
In a small bowl, pour the alchermes while in a saucer put some sugar
Quickly dip and extract the peaches into the alchermes
let them drain then pass them in sugar and place them in the cups.
Place the sweet peaches on a serving dish and refrigerate for an hour
Then serve the sweet peaches with alchermes
